Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not generate with Cyanvid: content rules, moderation, reporting, and enforcement.
Last updated: 2026-10-26
This policy defines what content Cyanvid may be used to create. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every prompt, upload, and generated output. Questions or reports: support@cyanvid.com or support tickets.
Prohibited content
You must not use Cyanvid to generate, request, upload for, or distribute content in any of the following categories:
- Pornography / NSFW — sexually explicit, pornographic, erotic, or sexually suggestive images or videos of any kind;
- Violence / gore — graphic violence, gore, or content that promotes or facilitates violent harm;
- Hate speech — content that attacks or demeans people or groups based on protected characteristics, or that promotes hatred;
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — any sexual content involving minors (anyone 17 or under), including fictional depictions — absolutely prohibited, with no exceptions;
- Deepfakes / impersonation — deepfakes, face swaps, “undress” / nudification, intimate-scene compositing, or fabricated statements or actions of real, identifiable people, whether or not those people consent; Cyanvid does not offer face-swap, lip-sync, or similar identity-manipulation tools;
- Copyright / trademark infringement — content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights, or that deceptively impersonates real people, brands, or organizations.
Also prohibited: promoting terrorism or mass violence; technical guidance for weapons of mass destruction; misleading political or commercial material (including false endorsements); malware, phishing assets, or spam; and jailbreak or obfuscation prompts intended to bypass screening.
Uploaded source material (image-to-video)
For image-to-video and any other feature that accepts an uploaded photo or image of a person, you may upload only:
- photos or images of yourself; or
- photos or images for which you have explicit permission from every identifiable person depicted.
Uploading another person’s likeness without their consent is prohibited. Having permission to use a photo does not authorize generating deepfakes, face swaps, undress/nudification, or other prohibited content listed above. Supported upload formats for image-to-video are PNG and JPEG, as shown in the product.
Content moderation
We screen prompts before generation using the Creem Content Moderation API. Screening covers prompt-based video and image generation paths. Generated outputs are private to your account (no public gallery); we may refuse delivery, remove, or restrict access to outputs that violate this policy when detected through reports or review.
- Prompts that violate this policy are rejected; nothing is generated or charged for that job.
- If moderation is unavailable, generation fails closed — we do not generate unreviewed prompts.
- We retain moderation decisions and related logs as needed for abuse prevention, appeals, and legal compliance, and we periodically sample generations to check filter accuracy.
- Deliberately obfuscating a prohibited request (any language, misspelling, code words, or partial wording) is treated as an attempt to bypass screening.
- Repeated attempts to generate prohibited content or to evade screening may result in account restriction or termination.
Reporting
Report suspected violations of this policy (including deepfakes, CSAM, or rights infringement involving you) to support@cyanvid.com or via support tickets. Include URLs, timestamps, account email if known, and a short description. We treat reports confidentially, review them objectively, and may record and act on malicious false reports.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Warning — written notice; require deletion or stop of the violating use;
- Content removal — remove or withhold violating outputs from your account storage;
- Feature restriction — lower generation limits, block specific models or features, or refuse further jobs of a type;
- Account suspension — temporary suspension pending review;
- Permanent ban — terminate access;
- Legal referral — preserve records and report to competent authorities where required (including suspected CSAM).
If you believe a prompt, output, or account action was wrong, contact support@cyanvid.com with details within 14 days of the notice; we will have the matter re-reviewed by someone other than the person who made the original decision where practicable.
Changes
Changes to this policy are reflected in the update date above. Continued use after a change takes effect means acceptance.
